City Clerk

The City Clerk's office maintains the City's official permanent records and city government meeting minutes, ordinances and resolutions as well as handling the issuance of city business licenses and permits, including:

  • Special Events licenses
  • Video Poker


Documents such as property transfers and sales, easements, encroachments, surveys and maps are maintained with the Iberville Parish Clerk of Court's Office. Property taxes are paid at the Iberville Parish Tax Collector's Office in Plaquemine.

Municipal election aspects such as candidate applications and voting procedures are handled through the Iberville Parish Clerk of Court's Office and Iberville Parish Registrar of Voters in Plaquemine.


Employment applications, once downloaded and completed, can be returned to the City Clerk's Office.
