The Mark A. "Tony" Gulotta Bayou Plaquemine Waterfront Park is an award-winning park complete with a fishing pier, boat docking area, two huge pavilions for events, restrooms and other amenities. It is often rented out for group events, weddings, and parties, and is the site of many of the city's festivals throughout the year.

A new outdoor pavilion has been added, and plans are underway to convert other sections of that pavilion into a kitchen and restroom area and an air-conditioned community center. The Waterfront Park is a very popular site at the entrance of Plaquemine.
